Well I be rollin down tonight to camp and heading out in the morning for the speed goat hunt.  My father in law already has dropped a decent buck so I've got a bird dog to spot for me.

Well here is the speed goat I got this weekend.  115 yard shot with the ole muzzle loader.  She took it right in the heart and dropped like a ton.  Had a blast with the father-in-law and got to see some awesome country around South Pass City.

mooter, congratulations - i need to stop procrastinating and start putting in for antelope (not to mention moose, sheep, etc.), and see what i can do with a bow - sounds too fun.  ...but to tell you the truth, i've got my hands full looking for a bull elk, a cow, a buck muley, and a black bear this month...

i hunt general tags, except for buying a leftover cow/calf for the hoback.  this way i can fill the freezer at the beginning of the season with good meat, then trophy hunt.

You'll be seein' some ;) I usually harvest around 8-10 animals a season (counting a whole pile of does) and the wife usually gets 2-3. Had some close calls with some P&Y class pronghorns over the weekend, hopefully I'll get one when the rut picks up a little. Next weekend I may go for elk.

DO IT
