Turkey Season

Who is getting ready for turkey season ? I can't wait. The vest is ready to go and so am I. I actually saw some toms the other day strutting and they were gobbling too. 3 nice ones and a large group of hens.

We are ready as ever!! When shed hunting two weeks ago(didn't find any) but the woods are full of TURKEYS!!!!

I can't wait either. Just purchased a turkey vest. Scheduled the first week of may off. I've been doing a little scouting. Only 5 weeks left to go.

I have not Turkey hunted in years. This spring I am going to give it a try with the bow!

its just around the corner ben seeing 7 nice long beards strutting there stuff  man im getting  ready got the calls out tuneing in my calling  but wife says im going to drive her nuts so now i just practise out side lol

Big Ice,  I have been trying for a few years withn the bow. Very challenging but I am sure it will be worth it if I get one with it. I shoot a 60 lb. recurve with no sights and I have been using a ground blind for the last couple of years. A lot of close calls but no cigar yet   .  Maybe this year.

              Awesome I am getting all pumped up. Have not did this for years. The last time was with a shotgun. But when I get going on something I get real focused and determined. I am so glad I came over to MHF this is a great site to like IS and MFF. I guess what make real good sense is a ground blind you guys are right.
