What do you consider a point on a deer's rack?

I say if you can hang a ring on it, it counts as a point. Some people say it has to be at least 1 inch long. What everyone elses opinion?

I'd say that it had to be an inch as well, unless it was my deer, when I consider counting those little nubs that form on the main beam...  Dont both P&Y and B&C require 1 inch??

I really don't care about b&C and P&Y, I just want to know what everyone considers a point. Does it have to be 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 3/8 inches etc.....

Doesn't really matter, if it's your deer.   I'm from the old school, if you can hang a ring on it then it's a point!

I always went by 1 inch,(because of the regs) there has to be a line somewhere, because otherwise I could call some dear 30 pointers that are only 8 pointers if I started calling little bumps points.  otherwise I really don't care, if its your deer call it what you want.

For me, this is just me, I prefer it to be at least a couple of inches something that is noticeable. just me.

Don't really care about PY or BC. I kinda like the way SCI scores. I guess we have to have something to go by.

But a big old gnarly massive buck weather it has two pts. or ten gets my approval.
