All good responses. Some better than others. I figured I'd play dumb as to whether or not he knew about the baiting. So that's what I did I asked him if he knew about it. He said no, I guess I believe him, doesn't really matter either way, I explained the baiting laws and made him aware of the possiblity of him getting in trouble for it, with the CWD rules and all and how just feeding the deer is illegal now. He was not happy that one of his buds could have potentially gotten him in trouble. So he thanked me and told me he was going to rake it up and boot the guy who put it there. I didn't hunt the property with the gun and haven't been by to see him since bow season ended. I'll update everyone later this weekas to who the culprit was and what he actually did, after I stop by to wish him happy holiday's.
