Shot this guy on Sunday, 10/21.   Not huge but a good quality bull.

A buddy shot a small five yesterday and helped on that retrieval.  2 miles of backbreaking labor, but got it done.   Beer tasted good afterward, that's for sure!

I hear you on the knees, mine are killing me today.

Got pretty lucky on the elk, I was watching a bunch a mile or so away and wishing they were closer when I heard this guy walking in the trees below me.   He fed out in the open and never knew I was there.

I knew he wasn't real big so I himmed and hawed for a few minutes but decided to take him.   Now I can try to get my daughter one so I can concentrate on a big deer.

Very nice 4eyes, nothing wrong with him.Looks better than 300 BC. I spent 5 days last week chasing and saw cows and spikes..bummer. Maybe soon, cows beware now! Have this site blocked now at work so time is limited here because I only have dial up at home. ug! CONGRATS!!
