Drawing success?
« on: Jul 24, 2007, 04:16:11 PM »
Anybody draw any tags? I see there are starting to post results on the FWP page. Damn: no Elkhorns tag this year either, looks like my only chance for one will be supertag. Cant ever give up hope. Maybe will draw antelope  anyways.

Goodluck to all !

Ya I checked my Elk drawing yesterday. I put in for a A-9 tag for a cow. Didn't even make it in the drawing. Apparently there is a separate line for A-9 tags versus your standard permit line ??? I had the right numbers in front of them , but on the wrong line  >:( And these jokers wanted me to volunteer my time as a Hunter Ed instructor. I think not :( I did get a deer B tag and am still waiting on the antelope. Hopefully I crossed my T's and dotted my I's properly >:( Live and learn I guess. Maybe they should offer a course on filling the applications out ;D

I screwed one up a few years back. Wrong check # on application. Also missed a damage game hunt because I was not by my phone when they called and they left no message or no call back.  So I love this online applications now and the damage game roster online also. Fewer chances to screw up.

We have hunted 560 once but we knew a guy there but he now closed his land, so will be looking for good block management if we draw. We hunted real close to RapelJae [sp] before and know of a little block management but ....will need more if whole party goes.

No moose, no goat, no sheep.   1 goat tag in 25 yrs, I've got to be due sometime.

No to Elkhorn elk tag either.

Last hope is antelope and SuperTag Elk.

Good luck on the 'loper tags guys!

My son had to bring this to my attention. Antelope rifle opener is OCT7. The printed regulations are incorrect. It is on FWP web page. You guys probably already knew this :)
Looks like we will go OCT11-14.

No 'loper tag in 381 for me.

Daughter got her first antelope tag in 341, she was turned 12 last year on Nov. 11 so she missed the antelope season but did bag her first whitetail buck and cow elk.

Pretty good start for year 1, hope year 2 goes as well.
