Spring hunting
« on: Apr 01, 2011, 09:15:30 AM »
Anyone going to get their bear baiting sites today, and turkey season is just around the corner.  I will not be able to travel for the turkeys with the way fuel prices are, need to save the money for hunting tags that are due in the next couple of months.  My brother is getting ready to chase the bears again this year.

I think gas will dictate what a lot of us do for hunting and fishing.
Good luck on the Bruins!!

Well bear season has been over here for awhile, anyone get theirs?  My bro shot a nice bear the 9th, kind of had the fish and game scared it colors looked like a Griz, but it was just a big old dry sow, there were only 3 taken this spring here.  So they might allow 5 for this fall.  But hunting was kind of tough with all the snow falling right after rifle season opened.  I know my bro and his hunting partners set their baits and the next day it snowed 40 inches.  Hope everyone had a great season and seen something.  Have a good one.
