Depends of where you shoot them, have got some out of the alfalfa Fields and corn Fields that taste really good, the ones out in the sagebrush are a little more like wildgame meat in my opinion, but when you have them made into Italian sausage or jalapeno polish dogs nobody knows the difference.

Well the wife got her goat this weekend, and one guy in my brothers camp got his elk, the weather is finally feeling like fall and not summer again.  This goat came in when a small buck and some does came and he ran in and the wife dropped him.

Well still been out hunting here and there just have not got to post up, my buddy got a nice 6 point bull the day after I left the mountain, but I had a nice bull come in bugling and tearing things up just a pine tree was in the way to shoot, but a great experience.  Been out chasing antelope still but no blood yet but lost a sleeve on my injectors to my diesel truck so have to take down time to fix this, it really sucks to have diesel in the coolant spraying down and making the cab smell like diesel.  But have got some photos of some deer and then can anyone tell me what the little critter is in the last two photos, I know just want to see how many other people have seen these rare little critters.\

yep swift fox, really cool to see him out and about, the first time we drove by he dove into his den, but when we came back he was laying out again and we snapped a few photos of him.

Well my antelope season ended shot a couple, found a nice freak that I chased, but did not seal the deal, oh well had fun hunting with my wife and kids, watched a new hunter kill there first big game animal, and had family Friends out that killed some, got to hunt with my dad as well and fun times were had.  Now off to try for the last ditch effort to get the elk meat for the freezer.  Hope to have some more pictures to post later, good luck to all and hope that some of you are getting your game.

Well the story of my hunting season I missed a bull and then all I could find were cows and calves after that, it was fun having the family up in the mountains again and getting my daughter to walk around with me, and she even got to see elk.  The wife had a chance at a legal bull but was in the wrong spot and the bull seen her before she could shoot and missed that opportunity but right as the last light was fading on the last night she got it done and went 2 for 2 on her tags and got this nice little bull.  Her first bull ever what a fun hunt.

Well finally got to get something to the truck this year, I have had the horrible case of missing everything I shot at this year.  But finally got a pheasant while I was out running my minnow traps, and got some minnows for icefishing as well a good day all around.
