Ship of Fools the limit is 15. We had a decent hunt yesterday. This was my first trip so i wasnt sure what to expect. My buddies i went with said they have killed as many as 105 in their group in a day. Yesterday we killed 37 36 snows and 1 blue goose. We had a flock come in 10 after setting up. No hesitation they flew right in instead of circling we killed 9 in that group. After that it seemed have to get them to commit to the decoys. Here are a few pics from yesterday mornings hunt. |

That's just awesome 8) ..... i went for canadas tow years ago a couple of times and we never fired a shot but this year we had many great days. One day i was setting up a decoy that fell over and turned around to go back to the blind and the sky was black with geese :o .... it's a very cool hunt and so different from deer hunting that it makes a great change. Question for you on the white suits .... what cover were you in with those on?? One of the days that we did really well we actually had a large percentage of geese bust us and turn away .... it's interesting trying to figure them out. |
