Whos ready
« on: Aug 06, 2012, 09:00:11 AM »
For early goose?! Little less than a month. Dog is looking good but he's got some last minute fine tuning to do. Gotta clean up the decs and do some more scouting and I should be ready to rock! Can't wait!

I might get my stamp this season just because there are so many geese and ducks on the river in the morning when we are bass fishing....    Just not sure about the regulations...

Key reg for you is that you can't shoot while underway.  Only place you can do that in NYS is Long Island, and only if you're trying to finish off a cripple.

Back to the OP -

Early goose around here is difficult, as the corn rarely gets cut soon enough, and the resident birds all hang out at golf courses, schools, and office parks, so you never get a good crack at them.

You can be underway all you want hear as long as it is not by way of motor......
It's not being cocky if you can back it up!
