My deer season so far
« on: Nov 01, 2018, 06:16:55 PM »
haven't been on here yet this year but wanted to show off my deer... I was lucky enough to get a new farm this year in southern Steuben county, hunted 3 days and have taken a 5 point and a doe!!

Wasn't able to get out opening day with the snow that dumped on us, both of our properties are a few miles up hill on seasonal roads!! so we spent Saturday (opening day) with a tractor and gator plowing trails into the farm... Sunday I was able to get into stand but knowing the snow was knee deep in a few spots from the wind drifts I passed up a few doe not wanting to drag them the 500 plus yards back to the truck LOL, then a little after 10am I had this spike buck come in from behind me and bust me as I stood to stretch the legs some!! he made a mistake stopping at about 80 yards to look back at me
