HAHA. Sorry GMH but it's been 8 or so years since we've had bucks like this. Both my wife and I have landowner tags and intend to fill them....   ;D
Them are two real sweethearts right there for you both ; Sure hope you keep getting some more good ones coming around  ;D ;D

Me too. For the last 8 or so years the buck population has really declined and the doe population has exploded. We haven't even put a dent in the doe pop. and this year they decreased the amount of tags issued. I'm not going to hunt too hard because I want those fellers to spread as much DNA as possible.  :o   If one walks in front of me I supose he'll be dinner though.  ;D

:o Now there are four of the little thieves in the yard.

In this  picture you can see the apple in the mouth of the closest one  >:(  That was last night.  This afternoon they were in the yard.   :-\ Maybe they were wondering when I was going to put the bird feeder out.

Here is a color picture of one that showed up early

Really nice pics, wish I lived out there. Can't wait to get home and set my camera up. This is all I can offer for the next 12 days days.

Any gun shooting a magnum cartridge is going to let you know when the trigger breaks and the primer goes pop---usually in the shoulder, occasionally in the cheek.

Here's a few from the last couple of days.

I can't figure out if his horn is broke or if it's growing like that. I'm leaning towards broken.

They should start stripping the velvet in a week or two.  By Oct 1st almost all
bucks are clean.

They just keep coming.   ???  Six of them now.

I would really like to see something like this.  But someone got this one last year.
