My fifteen year old daughter, Rylie, shot this buck on Sunday (13.5" on one horn, 13 5/8ths on the other, good mass) with one shot at about 60 yards.   She must have one hell of a guide!  Lol!

Taking the youngest daughter (12 years old), Ally, out Thursday for antelope and for the youth deer season.   Ally was very picky this weekend and wouldn't shoot anything under 13".   No pressure for the guide or anything, sheesh!  Ally passed up several bucks in the 12" range, we just couldn't make it happen on one really nice buck we hunted a couple times.

Here's Rylie's buck:

Nice work!! Very nice buck and it looks like the weather was gorgeous!! Tell your daughter congrats, I bet she makes all the boys at school jealous with her hunting pics eh? 8) Good luck with the youngest, both on her goat and deer!

Yeah, it makes taking the field photos interesting.

Dad, does my hair look good?   Me:  Sure.  Click.

Let me see the picture!   Nope, I don't like the way I look, delete.    Click.   How does my hair look in that one?

Good!   Let me see!   I don't like that one either......

LOVE hunting with my girls but sometimes Dad isn't all that smart apparently.

Can't wait to get back out there with Ally!

Great job and nice pics! Congrats FishNEyes and Riley. Good luck to you and Ally on Thursday. About how much does an Antelope buck weigh?

Good sized buck, probably about 120-130 on the hoof and maybe 90-100 gutted.

I guess I have never weighed one but one guy can move them around easily.

They are an absolute blast to hunt.   You know you're going to see game and usually have opportunity for multiple stalks if necessary.

Spot and stalk is my absolute favorite type of hunting and I like to get as close as possible.   That's what really makes hunting fun to me.

Thanks for the good luck wishes, it should be fun!
