Nice buck Tim, it is a little bigger then the one I was going to shoot on friday night, and a lot smaller then the BIG buck I saw. I am now thinking about calling off going to Oak lake to hunt and maybe spend my days off here at home. My chances of getting a Big buck are better here.

Nice buck tk10, he look fairly heavy from what you can see in the picture. Nice even rack too.

Thanks guys. Hey fly-in just got back from Virden with my girls. No luck for them this year. It was to cold and too much snow for the deer to move, but they started to move yesterday just when we had to leave.
Out4trout the buck actually reminded me of the size of the Caribou we packed out this year. Should be a lot of good eating.

TK, The weds night was cold (-26) but the rest of our hunt was good, walking those hills sure would warm you up. I shot two the first morning (spike and a springer), we push alot of bush out there but there wasn't anything comming out. The only other deer that our party shot was one shot by Stu (Mike's brother), Stu broke his foot just before the season so he shot his from a lawn chair beside his truck while we pushed bush for him. He told us to imagine we were getting $100 tips (he was playing the part of a cheep American hunter on a guilded hunt).
