Seriously though with the weather looking real good for ice this season anyone want to try again??     Lake George is jus plain phenomenal for icefishing.

30-30, Jager, STKA, myself and i am sure a few others have the laker thing down pretty good and we all have had days with 20 plus lakers …….  plus there are perch and pike etc too. Jager and i did a weekend last year and both had 20+ fish each day 

Plus lots of motels and a brewpub in town.

Anyone into it??  I would help organize.

well you know we are having our own as soon as it freezes! ……  jon and i were the first ones out off of MDB last year ….   we may very well be this year too

Absolutely …..  we had 30+- last time we did it ………..  stayed overnight in lake george and fished schroon

I would say that would give you the best chances at having good ice. Could be 4" or 2' by then, never know with LG but it should freeze this year the way the temps have been so far.
