How's the NH Pheasant hunting going?

I read that New Hampshire releases over 13,000 pheasants and I was wondering how the hunting is?  Do some of these birds make it through the winter and reproduce?  Maine use to put out over 30,000 in the "good old days" however the F & W dept. would rather spend our money on researching turtles or who knows what.

That's funny...I was just asking the same question in another thread. I personally have not yet hunted pheasant in this state but would love to in the future.
