Got a few hours trying to fill a couple goat tags I've had since archery season. I nice doe came by my fence post and I dropped her. I had seen a coupe goats in the area and assumed they all ran off at the shot.  When I gained a little elevation the valley was filled with antelope. Of course the mass Exodus began. I laid down on the top of the hill I was one and could see a couple goat close. One had horns and since I wasn't to picky as I was making sausage from them I decided and would taken anything with elk season starting next week. Most of the antelope had cleared the area and the horns came sneaking around the hill until our eyes locked on each over. All I could see was the head. Distance was 125 yards and I had just checked the scope and decided what the heck. I aimed just low of the right eye fired. Heard the load whop and no antelope. Walked up and hit right where I was aiming. Already for some sausage now.

Photo is a little graphic. If the mods think it's not appropriate I understand.

Well it looks like my season is over, General deer closed the 22nd for the area that I hunt but it was a good season.  My wife and brother in law got their deer the week that we hunted deer, but I only seen one legal deer the 6 days we hunted and the wife shot him on the last day of the season. As seen in the photo.

Would go into details about the deer hunting but so much happened that it is hard to describe, we had a great time though, my wife and dad ran into a monster deer but missed, got to spend time in the great outdoors with my daughters, and found a new application for my pack frame, which a picture is the best way to show.

Well good hunting to all that still have tags to fill, I think since I am done until pheasant hunting starts the first Saturday of November, I might go and do some fishing.

Well had some time off and tried to do some fishing with no luck, but did see some nice wildlife while driving around.  Here is one buck that we seen right in the middle of town.

Then pheasant season opened and we had seen a lot of pheasants out and about, but I guess everyone else had as well, we finally got one, and got a photo as we stopped to eat some lunch and decide where we were going since everyone was out in all of our spots.

And then we even seen some nice bucks and a couple of whitetailed does laying in a corn Field as we drove by, enjoy the pictures and hopefully more to come, going duck hunting with the wife and uncle this weekend.

sorry for the last picture a nice buck jumped out and this was the only picture I could get of him, but like the seanary as well, love living in such a great place.
