Missed this joker and his buddy this morning 30 yards. Wind was blowing about 30 MPH and arrow went right by his chest. I may have to think about using a compond some day.  ;D

We were moose scouting again.  My brother in law has no idea how to use a digital camera.  Not really he just tried to zoom in too much with the digital zoom.  These three bulls were in  my area.  I think any one of them will do.  But I like the front one.

Well, between scouting and the first few days of season I've probably looked over close to 100 bucks. Found 2 that just make your eyes bug out, and more 4 points than I can even count. I had my first attempt at one of the big ones foiled by some more bucks with him I didn't see bedded. Decided to give him a rest for a few days, went after the other big one. Found 13 different bucks in about a mile square area, including this one, but not the big guy. I just thought he looked cool with how tall he is.

Stopped on the way home from work and found one of the big boys bedded. First time I've been able to get a good long look at him. Has a kicker on one side I figured was about 6 in. long, really big tops, and wide. I really need to figure out pictures through a spotting scope... any suggestions?

I have an adapter that my iPhone fits in and it has different size rings that screw onto the adapter and then fit onto the ocular lens of the scope. It works great. Some people just hold a digital camera up to the eyepiece and shoot but it's hard to hold steady.

What peddler said.  There are adapters out there- might be worth investing one, or you can also find some DIY plans on the web.  I think Turkey Country or a similar magazine had plans for one in the last year or two.

Got a nice goat Sunday 9/09 Just a Little shy of B and C. Had a blast hunted from the boat. Fishing and hunting at the same time could get very addictive. LOL
