ordered a camera for the bow!

after having so many encounters the last several years where i looked back and thought "damn that would have been AWESOME on film!", i decided this season i will be filming my bow hunts. i won't be going crazy and talking before each hunt but when that deer approaches my stand the camera will be on. can't wait to get some action on film to be able to help remember the moment for the rest of my life!

i went w/ a go pro hero 2 off of ebay and the bowfinger 2.0 mount from bowfinger archery. ordered yesterday. i will provide some feedback once i get everything setup. hopefully it works ok in low light conditions as that's when i have 80% of my encounters...

Nice, good luck with it. Looking forward to seeing some of your hunts this fall. Plan on filming some hunts this season myself.

you will love it. i have the same set up for my rabbit hunts, 4 wheelin and my bow. its pretty cool.

    I was so inspired by Cheek's video last season , I bought the same camera to film my own hunts  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I am so geeked up for the season already  ;D ;D ;D ;D

it's fun filming your hunts. i got into it last year with a cheap hunting cam, a midland xtc or something like that. it worked, but everything looks so small. that big buck i shot last year at 30 yards looked like a squirrel on video. tiny.. and he dressed out at 207. this year i've got a kodak playsport to try out with an insane archery mount. the playsport has a zoom so that should help the deer look more normal on video. better video quality vs. the midland cam too.

How much does a setup like that go for. I'd like to loom into it and are the mounts universal to fit most bows. My bows ten years old bit was top of the line for its time.
