definately a nice youngin!  they should start shedding soon it looks though, I went scouting for sign sunday, ended up getting within 40 yds of 9+ bedded on a ridge, it was a perfect set up, came in upwind of them while hiking, caught a glimpse of brown stand and stretch through some old growth hardwoods, glassed them and sure enough they were yarded up sunning not a care that I was there.  Definately was a pleasant surprise to watch for 30 mins.  snuck back out without them flinching!  And yes they are still sporting there head gear.  This should change soon though as we get into mid february I would imagine once we get some cold snaps.

my buddy was headed home the other day and a nice 8 or 10 and a spike walked across in front of him, think I had seen them both in that area at night this year

That deer looks so good, it almost looks fake.  Amazing how clean and bright his white hairs are.

Funny you say that. when I saw the first pic I thought somebody was playing a joke on me and put my 3d target in front of my camera, until I saw the next picture. He has a lot of white on him, Just a great looking deer.
