It only took 3 years, but I got em!

Been after this buck for three seasons and I finally got em. After approx. 150 hrs on stand our paths crossed on Sunday 12/5, the last day of the 2010 season. Persistence paid off big this time. He has 14 points with a kicker G2 and G3 and nice kicker off one brow tine. Funny thing was he weighed in @ only 150lbs. Figure it's  because he had no rear teeth and we were just coming off the end of the rut. But I couldn't be happier. Buck of a life time! Going to have him mounted for sure

That is awsome! Its great you have trail cam pics of him as well. Congrats on the hunt St. Croix.

Weight don't matter, that thing is a trophy for sure. Especially with the backgound you have with it. Glad we took that gun out to shoot it, that would have sucked to finally get a look at this guy and miss!

Great buck St.Croix!!!! That's a lot of hours to put in on one buck... Good going staying on him. They say every buck makes a mistake. Glad you were there when he did. Congrats!

Yes, special thanks to castnblast for lending me his bad a** slug gun. Think i would have done a sailors dive out of the treestand if I had missed.

You ought to be able to get an estimate yourself. I've seen guides on a few different web sites.
