Thanks. Heading back up the mountain to cart her down.

Throw it over your shoulders and walk out with it like the old time guides use to do…… 8) 8).   ;D ;D

All quartered and on ice.

Work smart not hard. Bought the cart for OH because the uphill drags would be too much. Was more winded bringing the empty cart up the mountain, spent more energy on the way down trying the slow it down than I did pulling it.

Man this wind blows…
Sitting inside the popup and I can still feel it swirling.  And the leafs are blowing in circles and up and down the field… :P

Not much wind today but the latest rain has messed me up, never seen the woods so wet. Hiked up to hunt the big scrape one last time before heading west... and nothing but a big puddle under the hemlock where they scrape. Still a good travel area but only a red squirrel so far.

Had a gorgeous 10 pt go by at 715, 60 yards in the swamp is not something I’m risking here with the bow.

No sense in pushing the distance with a bow, smart choice and early in the season.

That’s a poke at a deer with a bow. Hopefully he does the same thing during gun season
