Just did it 2 weeks ago used an old hand sieve , I'll probably do it one more time in 2 or 3 more weeks
I like doing the work by hand like keeping it as quite as possible so no has a reason to investigate to see whats going
on ; I get left alone and know one  knows it's there ;) :) :)

Your plot looks awesome! Did you spray any weed killer before you started?

No ==  I cleaned all the brush , old grass , limbs and leaves & Put the Lime right to it & Then covered it with  black plastic early last fall
Uncovered it this spring Limed it again worked the soil up by hand black plastic does wonders; Was bare ground nothing but black top soil , It's
Only 40'x60'  Lot's of work all by hand like the old day's , Didn't want the noise from equipment to draw attention , Just put 50lbs. of 0-15-15
fertilizer on it the 4th worked get rained Weds & Thurs. night , Going to Lime it again around 1st of Aug. The Deer are pounding it , Might not have
to hand sieve it , Looks like they are going to do it for me , Got to keep the Grass Sweet for them  ;) :) :) :)
