To keep my shooting skills going and the pests out of my garage I have managed to bag 3 chipmunks and 2 red squirrels using a .22 with birdshot shells in it.

Just in case your wondering what the white spots from.when i called him out on the opposite river bank he had his head up in the air looking for me, and i was aprox. 2oo yds across the river watching him follow the riverbank for 400 yds as i called him in. he went up into the bush and i barked at him again to get him back to the bank.just as i squeezed off i could see him in my scope drop his head to turn back into the bush but i followed thru rattled him.at the shot he turned broadside to leave and i doubled lunged him. found him down and out 10 yds from point of impact. can't wait till next time!
