Do they have a hotel they go to? If so, can anyone tell where it is? I'd like to book a room there during the rut.

In my neck of the woods people say "I'd rather kill a small buck than a doe. The does are next years bucks!" To which I like to reply... "Did you think that spike horn was going to change sex mid-winter?"

I hate this one.....my brother and I were almost shot one day because of a guy sound shooting.  The bullet came so close I felt the percussion hit me in the leg.  I actually thought I had been shot.

If a guy ask you if you have seen any deer and you say "no, but I saw some tracks"  the guy says "You cant eat tracks.....I guess you could but they taste like dirt."

"Anything that moves" ATM Hunting

 A guy i talked to one day in the field last year while i was scouting for a big trophy moose to hunt during archery season told me quote" I stalked a big bull out in a swamp this morning and took a pot shot at him with my .44, I mite have missed but i doubt it" unquote. 3 days later, on opening day, I found that bull lying in a beaver pond bloated and stinkin. His rack wouldve gone maybe 60 or more inches, and the skull plate had been cut on. he had gut shot it and then tried to remove the rack, but didnt have the necessary tools. Heres where it gets hot though.  When i got back to my truck to call the troopers, the same guy parked right next to me. I didnt say anything, just nodded at him..20 minutes later the trooper showed up and i told him where to find the poached moose...you can probly figure out what happened later on your own.
