first fall turkey hunt

Clamwrangler:
went out at 6am this morning sat at the edge of a field and waited. i then decided to use the ambush attempt walked around for awhile but saw nothing where should i be looking fields woods? what time about do they come down from there roost

Coach:
Find out where they are roosting and target them near there.

Sportskid and I scored these birds yesterday afternoon, we set up in a small opening in the woods and sat quietly in my doghouse blind.
