Tree Stands
« on: Sep 07, 2009, 06:51:48 PM »
Anybody out there have some cool stands or blinds out there? This is the one I made. It took about 3 half days and costs about a bucket of nails.

These are pictures before it was done.

This is looking at the entry above the ladder.

Other end of the stand.

Back side of the stand.

Front side of the stand.

The floor is 12 feet above the ground.

These are pics after it's done complete with roof, plywood floor, seats and shelves.

Back of the stand.

Front of the stand.

It over looks 2 trails that come together which are made by moose and 300 yards behind has a very nice swamp.

Now that looks like a condo compared to any thing I've built. Never built one with a roof, quite comfortable when it's raining. Sounds like a great spot. Plenty of room for two. Are you planning on one of you filming the others hunt? Looks like a good opportunity.  8)

I never thought about filming one of our hunts but it sounds like a good idea. We'll be camping and hunting there from Oct. 10 to Oct. 18 when 2 point bull moose is open as well as calf season so chances are good.
