Is there anything that's a bigger pain in the butt than taking one apart and cleaning it after shooting it several times?

I feel your pain...last year got my first in-line gun...sure makes it better and faster to clean...before the in-line I was using a 1850 Lancaster (semi-custom), it is 54" long with full stock and that was a 2/3 hour job. From what I have seen, I think the ff/fff powder cleans up better than the pellets...hunts2long

I've got a Thompson Center Contender G2 .45 cal. It's never had a pellet in it only loose powder. Started with Triple 7 and immediately switched to Blackhorn 209 when it came out. There is nothing else to use period!!!!! Shoot 15 or 20 shots no swabbing between shots cleans up like a dream.

I've never minded cleaning them. A flush tube and jug of soapy water will speed up the process. ;)
