I like that Savage 99 you have there, its a bit distracting, Congrads on the deer, feels good to fill the freezer.

Good eye ya got there. It's a 99H in .303 Savage caliber. The scope is an old Lyman All American 3X with a post and no crosshair. It has a 20" barrel and is a hoot to hunt with.

thats a nice buck LBK and the mrs didn't do too shabby either congrats to both of you ...job well done !!!
   thats a nice peice of hardware you got there is that a rolling block browning ?i had one in 308 and gotta say it was my favorite shooting gun i ever had ..absolutely loved it ..hard times lead to a departure but some day i'll get another !!just havta settle with the icon for now i guess !!

If "nice piece of hardware" is referring to my rifle. It is a Savage 99 model H carbine with a 20 inch barrel. made in 1926. Caliber is .303 Savage and it is shooting Winchester factory ammo with 190 grain silvertip bullets. Thanks for the compliments.

Families that hunt together DO stay together, that's for certain!!!!
