Sat in a new spot tonight. I had scouted it a little before deer season and got a few pictures of some doe. I had been meaning to get in there to hunt but hadn't yet. It has a big patch of mature hemlocks and i figured with the rain today they may have bedded in there today.
Found my spot to sit and was just getting settled in. I look up and and see 2 deer sneeking through the jack pines in front of me. A soon as she was in the clear i took my shot. She bolted and crashed hard 30 yards later. Heart shot her.
