His neck is thickening up so he is in his territory...sounless you have a bigger boy...when those does come into season...he will holding close by...and he will be chasing...better plan on not working the first two weeks of November and wait for him to make a mistake...do you bowhunt?

No I don't bow hunt but I let one guy hunt there and he does.  He'll let that deer walk if I ask him to, but it would be hard to pass up for anyone. My deer hunting is limited to shotgun, but I may get a blackpowder tag to boost my chances.  The property is in southern zone.

You'll probably get plenty of requests to let people hunt there now. I recommend keeping it the way you have it with the one guy. Good luck getting your first one. Don't let anyone else's standards effect what you shoot. Shoot any legal deer you want and be as proud as you can be about it. Can't wait to see a success picture with your first. Good luck.

Latest update: I finally have a daytime shot of a buck!  Most of the other shots are at night, and mostly does.  I have not seen that big bruiser on my camera or in person.  I am hoping he will be back!
