Yes it is quiet here, I am a Quebec resident both since most of my friend & family hunt in Ontario once in a while I pay the price & go hunt with them either in White Lake Ontario where I hunted before as a resident or in Plantagenet Ontario where my uncle owns 25 acres & has permission to hunt other surrounding properties.

Here is a spike I have taken a picture of while scouting a few years back :

be careful out there you never know whom or what you will encounter.

Here is picture of deer hunting 2011, 1st my uncle's hunting camp he has 25 acres of land with his farm, he lives in a house but decide to have a hunting camp anyway :

The reason is the slope of the hill to get to the hunting grounds :

Here some pictures of the inside, sorry for some reason the lens seem to be dirty on some of these :

I know is a been a while I missed out on a female in 2011 near my uncle camp, I also went back to White Lake during the black powder season, I was hunting with my bow since I never hunted with black powder guns & was sure that I had better chance to get one with my bow, I had practice up to 100 feet & could group 3 arrows in about a 6 inch diameter.

But even if the spot looked promissing all I saw was a grouse & my friends did not see anything too.
