Title: Opening Day
Post by: Darby on Sep 28, 2020, 06:49:32 AM
Well, the birds were everywhere, and i don't think it mattered where you hunted.  Ended up getting our limit pretty easily,  and saw 11 more on our way back to camp.  Looking forward to next weekend

Nice work fellas! Might go take the .410 for a walk out back now, forgot it was open before the 1st. Slim Pickens here but nice to do after work when you don’t get out in time to deer hunt

Yeah, a buddy of mine drove almost 2 hours from his house last weekend with 2 other guys.  1 road, they saw 19 birds, got their 12 in 45 minutes, and headed home.  Taking a friend and his daughter moose hunting next week, and plan to eat a few for breakfast most days.  Can't beat eggs, bacon and fresh birds in the woods
