« on: Sep 19, 2005, 12:44:12 PM »
Any predictions for partridge hunting this Fall up north?....seems like a wet Spring might have dampened the population....I have been on a few scouts here in central Maine, and have only flushed 2 :(...any imput would be appreciated...thanks

I was up around Presque Isle last weekend.  Even with the warm and humid weather on Thursday and Friday, I saw over ten birds.  Saturday I only saw one due to the rain.  Of course out of the 10 or so I saw, I only got off two shots and missed both.
