Title: Broad head Flight Question
Post by: Squirrel on Sep 30, 2015, 07:23:55 AM
I have shot the G5 T3's for 3 mechanicals years now with good success. I love these broad heads. My wife two Christmases ago got me the Ram Cats fixed blades. My question is how different are these going to fly than my G5 T3's if they are both 100 grain? I am nervous to try them out as i am real happy with the G5 T3's but i def would like to try and harvest a deer with the Ram Cats. I shoot a Mathews Z7 xtreme for refference it is set at 60lb draw.

If your bow is properly tuned they will shoot the same.  Try shooting them first b4 hunting with them.

I'm shooting a PSE rally, at 70lbs. Using carbon express mayhem hunter 250 arrows. I've tried both mechanical and fixed, it dosent  really fly any different. Same as my pratice tips.I thought they would fly different, but it was mostly just in my head.. ;)

As already stated. A properly tuned bow will shoot both fine. I hunt with Wasp Drones and Rages, Both fly great out of my bow. To be honest the Fixed blades actually fly better than the rage.
