12 ga or 410

so heres a question why is it when i take out the old 12 ga i can bag birds like nothing i take out the 410 and i just end up empty handed and speculation??????

The .410 has a small shot load and strings horribly.

410 has a tighter shot pattern and 1/4 of the shot in a load...   My sons 410 takes 3 inch shells and I knock down crows with it out to 40 yards..
