The looooooooooong wait

Haven't been out much at all this bow season...got out the last 3 nights for afternoon hunts...had deer all over me the last 2. Had a buck come within 7 yards at last light, tonight. I put the arrow where I think it needed to be??? Heard the spitfire blades open on impact..deer trotted off. Not being 100% sure on the shot I waited 1/2 hour and slinked out. Now comes the sleeplesssssssssssssssssss night waiting for sun to attempt and recover this deer. Wish me luck in AM!!!!!!

Went back in long before sunup......couldn't find arrow or blood as I was in a swamp and it was still dark. Was gonna wait til light to start really searching, figured I'd look quick in the area of the deers departure and saw him piled up 35 yards from my stand! A nice big bodied 6.
