2010 MHF Spring Turkey Contest

WOW what a flock of turkeys I seen today crossing the road in front of the car,at least 50 but prolly more!!!!

Well since its getting close to the season,whats required to enter a turkey.....

A pic of tag with turkey,or a written paper/sign with date at least!!!!!

Honor system,no problem!!!We as participants "should" if we get a monster/winner turkey at least post a piece of paper that says 2010 in the pic IMO.....I mean why not if your taking pics of it anyway,how hard can that be......

I am pretty sure if you read the scoring link and the rules we need a picture of the bird, the beard with a ruler,left and right spurs with a ruler and the bird on a scale if possible. This is for fun,among your fellow sportsmen of MHF. Should be no need to worry about cheating.

  To be a legal entry you will need the following. There is no 2010 card need in the picture and a picture of the bird on the scale is optional. Reason for that is every scale is different and we are not all using the same scale. Some are concerned about people entering a bird from previous season. I guess it would be possible but I do not know to many hunters to take this many pics of their bird. Especially pictures in the manor needed to be legal in this contest.  This contest is for fun and based on the honor system. Which I know we all can handle.
 
1. Picture of the hunter,bird, and weapon used to harvest the bird.
2. Picture of the beard up against a ruler to show beard length. If there is more than one beard take another picture of that beard as well up against a ruler.
3. Picture of right spur against a ruler.
4. Picture of left spur against a ruler.
5. Weight of bird(no pic required of bird on scale)
