mock scrapes

hey  guys,, has anyone ever used household ammonia in a mock scrape ??,Tinks has a product called scrape starter,, and it smells just like ammonia..just curious if anyone has ever tried it , any success ???

I have never tried it and I don't know anyone who has.  It sounds unsafe.  That is my opinion.  You would probably be better off using the Tink's stuff for the sole reason that humans can't smell what deer can and maybe the ammonia isn't the cause of the attraction a scrape draws.  I know we're all looking for ways to gain the advantage without spending a ton of money, but I believe household chemicals belong at home.  Please don't take it personally, that is just my opinion.

yeah ive heard of people doing that. Its basically all that tinks stuff is. I tried the tinks last year but it didn't seem to do too much. Active scrape and buck bomb worked a little better, but still with limited success
