Thanks Issiah!  Let's make it a point to get together on the ice this year.  Open water got away from me for a number of reasons too lengthy to get into.  I'm heading up to camp on Thursday before New Years and gonna check out Eaton for early ice. If safe ice I will plan on getting out there on New Year's eve if you're interested.  Will be coming back the following Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat after New Years as well. Hope to get into some of the LLS Brooders!  Happy Holidays and be well!

Mike

Deposit- I did not know who you were taking about (Lock!!!) but I googled him and I'll admit, you got me.  I've been trying to keep a low profile for several years but I can't keep running.  Incidentally, I'm selling autographed copies, signed and numbered for only $199.99 of me and the deer.  There is a limited supply.  Don't be the last one to get a photo.  They're selling fast!  Makes a great Christmas gift for that special hunter friend on your list!

Happy Hunting!

Not at all!  Love the humor.  I asked my co-workers today who the heck Lock was and the first thing they said was "Holy S_ _ T! You look just like him!  That prompted me to investigate further and google this dude!  Not sure if I should be flattered but he's not too bad looking a guy!  I have also been told that I look like Tom Hanks (kinda gay) and Mark Messier (very cool) when I don't have the beard.

As far as my year goes, it was the best one I ever had in 25 years of hunting.  That being said however, I'm a pretty lousy shot with the bow but I'm persistent and keep trying.  I get too excited most of the time and aim at the whole critter and not a spot.  You put enough arrows in the air and sooner or later your gonna hit something!  The elk and muley were with the MZ loader which doesn't take that much skill other than getting close. In either case, thanks for the kind words and good laughs!

Be well- Mike
