first of the year with pics

I shot this nice 10 pointer on 11/6/08. He had his nose down and moving fast. I was lucky to get him to stop. I shot him at 4:30p.m. While I was waiting in the stand for him to expire, I had a small 6 pointer come in and hang out for a while. It was a great day. This is the 4th year in a row that I have shot a buck the first week in November.  I hunted Saturday and Sunday, and saw 4 different bucks all with there noses down. I didn't see any does though!

Nice, pretty rack he has. Looks like the young lad in the pic is quite excited for you. Nothing better than sharing it with the young ones.

Thanks guys... Could be a Genny can, we had a few after we found him. That is my son in the picture. He can't wait to hunt... 7 more years!

I'll Have a beer for your buck,,we  took 2 of our vets hunting today,a Germany army vet and a south pacific navy vet,no deer but we had a great time.
