The warm temps put on the hurts in my hunting today. Places that I saw deer when it was cooler were not there. I'm sure they weren't moving, maybe they will get a better start when it cools down again.

YUP THIS SUCKS! I thought I was done sweating for the season until I started dragging.
-
What did i miss AA?
-
Yep. They are going to be moving late tonight. But cooler temps are on the horizon. Should be a good weekend to hunt.
-
you didnt miss anything buddy just me crying about the 65 degree weather I hunted in today.
-
I stayed home. Been there done that. Plan on goose hunting tomorrow. Don't think the heat will affect that.
-
Yeah, this week is a crazy. The ML week up north is usually when the heat wave rolls thru but this is late!
-
Trust me it sucks when you have one hanging, had to do emergency butchering...
-

I had considered making a box around my hanger with insulation foam and using a small A/C unit to turn it into a cooler, but opted to use the spare fridge instead (if I get lucky enough to need it). Just a thought for early season.
