I am able to hunt bear, which I don't usually do.  I have been getting pics of some bears frequently all summer long in this area so I have my tag ready this year.  Bear season actually started on Sept. 1 and archery starts on Sept. 15 here, so I will be ready for either the bear or deer.  I was actually out getting a tree ready for my stand yesterday afternoon (the tree in the background, immediately to left of the standing bear), which is about 20 yards from the tree he was leaning up against.  I've got my fingers crossed.

Sweet pictures, I want a bear bad this year. I have a nice 9, 11, and spike horn on the cameras though, so if all goes well it will be a good year this year also.

Don't mean to hi-jack your thread, but heres a few of my cam pics from this year.
Apparently this 9 is more dominate than the 11 below. BTW my camera was indeed next to an APPLE TREE, im not baiting them.

Thanks guys my I just got off the phone with my dad, and he was on his way to the house and he saw a huge buck we've been after for the last few years, he said this year it has 2 complete main beams with 5-6 tines on the one beam, and he didn't get a good look at the other 2. We've found his sheds last year and he had another left main beam but it didn't have anypoints on it, so I hope we come across his ones from last year, and then bag him ;D Guess I'll have to put the camera down there..
