No, I was not hunting for a goat, and I wouldn’t have the heart to shoot this critter that snuck up behind me while I was setting up my camera. ***** was like, “Don’t move”. Anyways, this was truly a unique experience that happened this past weekend on S***** Peak’s summit before dark. It was funny, the goat was licking my rifle and our packs, probably for salt. The lake behind the goat and me is Pend Oreille in Idaho. On the other side, behind the goat is a steep rocky wall in Montana.
