Was out checking cameras to decide where I was going to sit for the evening.

Saw this guy about 50 yrds off the road in a low swampy area. By the time I went and checked a camera he had bedded down. I thought I might have a chance at a stalk with my ML but never my bow. I haven't shot a deer with a gun in 3 years....

I ran/flew home, grabbed the ML. When I returned he was still bedded down!!! I parked and crept into the woods. I came down the rock wall he was bedded near and took a shot while he was still bedded at about 75 yrds.

7pt 149lbs
