My Moose Hunt
« on: Nov 30, 2006, 07:42:05 PM »
I shot this Bull in Maine. It weighed 724 lbs and had a 57.5" spread. Really the hunt of a lifetime. I did the scouting and found the area to hunt, about 40 miles from the nearest town. We had to stalk within shooting range, the wind was in our favor, everything was perfect. I cant wait to get the head back from the taxidermist.

That's a nice bull. Just wind that tongue in before you hang him on the wall

I just found out that it scored 188. I don't remember the fraction. It grossed 195 but after deductions netted out at 188+. I cant believe that i finally made the Maine Antler Skull Trophy Club. The minimum score for that club is 170

Congratulations on the great moose! :)
