its a pretty good lil gun... we had a full size 7600 for her for the first 3 years she hunted but it was just a tad bit long on her!! we ended up getting the  lady/youth model and it fits her great now!! I still like my 06 but the 7mm-08 seems to be a tack driver

I was a 243 guy for a long time then went to the 7mm-08 it put's them down right there in there tracks
don't get me wrong the 243 is good but some times you don;t see the reaction when you hit them  ??? But the
7mm-08 you watch them drop right in there tracks  :)

she also has the 243 lady pink thing.... that's a great little gun also  but I like the 140 grain out of the 7mm-08 better with the chance of bear coming out on a drive!!

Remington 700 Classic in 7mm Mag. 140 gr. is my favorite. But getting up in age, I now use my brother's rifle, a Remington 742  308  150 gr. Recoil is much more tolerated.

My favorite Rifle is my Ruger American 30-06 great shooting gun and light unfortunately the only thing its taken down is 2 coyotes and a moose. I live and hunt in southern nh can only use a shotgun so my deer gun is my Remington 1187 has filled my freezer every year for 25 yrs now.

Well, mine has surely changed since I joined the site!

I do most of my damage with a Ithaca Deerslayer 2 in 12ga. Otherwise my .280 x bolt gets the nod. It’s the confidence factor. Both of them I know when I point it’s game over no matter circumstance
It's not being cocky if you can back it up!
