A friend of mine will have a booth there. Look up Hat Trick Charters and tell him that Skip said hello.

Hat Trick has been around a while...

I met him at Brennan's Beach, we had trailers across from each other. At that time he was working on the nuke plant as an electrician. I lived in Pulaski at the time. Probably ariund 77 or 78. He's as good as there is on the Lake.

The 28' Baha's are very popular here...if I remember right that boat that he runs he upgraded and bought it off of a guy I worked for for a short time...the guy I worked for...he now has a newer Baha and still runs out of Oswego...the first boat I worked on was a 28' Baha as well...Scotty D Charters, he was from Schenectady area...I was 10 years old...great childhood job...I was 2nd mate...I got to rig a few lines and clean the boat, I made 10 bucks a charter...lol

They are a good design for chartering, the flat open deck with no engine box in the way is great, lots of room. I got lucky finding mine, it's an '88 but only had 500 hrs when I bought it 8 years ago

Yeah they are set up great for that kind of fishing...one sold a couple years ago at the Marina I go too here ridiculously cheap...wish I knew about it when it went up for sale...I was told around 7k... :o gas prices hurt a lot of guys around here, I'm sure there too...

That sounds like a steal if the hull/stringers are good. The gas prices have to hurt out there, esp.when you have to run a good distance to find fish. Don't have to travel far here and the kicker saves a lot. Marina/dock fees are much higher here though.

The boat was all set up with riggers, outriggers, planer mast...it was a newer one...all white...it was a steal...that is why most of the guys run out of Oswego now, quicker to deep water and fish...those kickers are great and quiet...

Wow, I wonder what year, the all white ones haven't been around that long as far as I know.

The only time I fished out there was with Creasy in the T-Craft he used to have, low to the water, big engine box; he sold it I guess. Do you know the guy with the boat Preying Mantiss?

The name sounds familiar, don't know the guy or the boat...
