What goes great with fresh Veni?

Perch, the other white meat  ;D Finally took a few days off to fish, Sunday was good but Monday was fantastic!! 25 bags-o-fillets in the freezer, now just gotta find some eyes!

 Great catch!!!   Want to try something different with them?

"Hollywood Coconut Perch"
Coat fillets in dry pancake batter.
Dip in a thin pancake batter.
Roll wet fillets in coconut flakes than panfry in about 1" of hot oil til golden brown.
Asian sweet & sour sauce goes great with this... if you like coconut shrimp, you'll love this recipe!

Great mess of fish, nice to see the good Perch spots are getting good ice again this year!  That will stock up the freezer nicely!

Fished up In Henderson Spike...pretty sick when you can fish from 7-11 and run out of room to put fish  :o
