rem 6.5 mag.... yeay or neah ???

looking at buying a rem mod 700 6.5 mag....any input?

The .284 wildcat....Very close to a .270 in ballistics and a little flatter shooting.
Guy I know in Speculator said he sees a lot of them in the long range shooting he does.
As far as in a model 700...how can ya go wrong.... (I have the .270... )

i have a model 700 30-06 as well, been looking for a 308 but thinking 6.5 might be a happy medium

It is, with some loads you can get a short mag ballistic out of it. Heck it was a .350 case in it's former life...LOL
